2009 PSU Tax Practitioners Institute Call for Presenters
Portland State University is seeking qualified tax professionals to deliver technical tax law presentation for its 2009 Tax Practitioners Institute – the Northwest’s best tax update. Proposals for presentations are due in June 2009, and presenters will be chosen by the end of July 2009.
Do you have expertise and experience that you would like to share with your colleagues? Can you recommend a great speaker who would be a dynamic addition to our Institute?
We are looking for educational, non-commercial, practical application, and informative presentations suitable for tax professionals.
Presentation guidelines:
- Must be able to present at four to five locations in Oregon
- Session must be minimum two hour (100 minutes) session
- Technical level / audience is typically: 46% CPA, 17% LTC, 17% EA, and 12%TP
Deadlines:
- Submissions due June 2009
- Notified of acceptance by July 2009
- Materials due October 2009
- Institute begins November 2009
How presentations are selected
- Timeliness of content
- Focus and clarity of presentation (organization of materials, directness of message, etc.)
Workbook chapters are determined by the Land Grant University Tax Education Foundation, Inc., in May 2009, and listed on this website.
We only consider those proposals that have ALL fields in the form below filled in.
