PSU CISSP® Immersion Course
Overview:
The PSU CISSP ® Immersion course provides an intense focus on principle concepts of security, as documented in the ten core Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) domains. Our total immersion approach distills the knowledge and years of experience of thousands of security professionals to prepare you for your CISSP® certification exam.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for taking this course. However, in order to take the ISC2 exam, you must meet their qualifications (documented on the ISC2.org website). This course is designed for the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP ®) certification candidate.
Benefits of CISSP certification
A CISSP® certification represents an affirmation of your security competency by the security professional community. To management this eliminates a measure of risk -- CISSP® certified security professional have been tested by their peers and found worthy, far more so than a 1 hour interview could reveal. The result has been that most top level security positions today require CISSP certification and most CISSP certified individuals are paid more than those without it.
In today's Sarbanes Oxley and Corporate Governance environments, your company can point your CISSP certification as evidence that they are taking measures to reduce risk and protect stakeholder interests.
