Healthcare Management Certificate
This certificate is designed as seven evening courses delivered one night a week for six weeks. You develop a well-rounded understanding of the current healthcare industry challenges regarding quality and efficiency, financial management, cultural competency, managing and leading, technology, and economics and policy.
Students earning the management certificate must take six of the seven courses offered in the series.
Experience Level: 3-7 years healthcare and management combined experience

Seven evening courses held at the Professional Development Center, 1515 SW 5th Avenue, Suite 1050, Portland OR.
Healthcare Leadership Certificate
Students taking these courses have advanced experience as healthcare managers and have completed our Healthcare Management Certificate or a professional or degree equivalent. Instructors assume that participants have significant prior exposure to the healthcare industry, management, and leadership.
Experience Level: At least 7 years of combined healthcare and management experience (preferred director level and above).
Those who are new to healthcare or lack essential management experience should earn our core Healthcare Management Certificate before considering this advanced leadership series.

Class Size
Our class sizes are quite small; no more than 20 students participate in each seminar. There are many opportunities for debate and discussion. Specific challenges presented by students are strongly encouraged.
