Developing
Health Care Policy Mitch
Greenlick, PhD., Oregon State House of
Representatives Begins Friday, April 18. Registration
Open.
No
matter what leadership position you have in health care,
public policy influences your work. The upcoming course
on Developing Health Policy is a rare opportunity to
spend 16 quality hours with Mitch Greenlick and his
esteemed guests. With more than 30 years of health care
and education experience you can bet that Mitch has
designed one of the most interesting courses on public
policy in a long time.
This course is not a
seminar on how and idea becomes law, in fact if you want
that click
here. Students in this course will have the
opportunity to actually write a policy that Mitch will
propose in the upcoming '09 legislative session.
So, don't sleep through this one. Do you have a
fantastic idea that must be heard? Now might be your chance.
We are limiting the number of student so you can have
quality, in-depth conversations with your colleagues.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::: Consider this
certificate if you have 7 - 10 years healthcare
management experience. The Healthcare
Management: Leadership Certificate is designed for a
healthcare leader that has mastered the technical and
relational skills needed for good management yet seeks
to dig deeper into the conceptual skills of leadership.
Many individuals are experts in their own right, but
need to have dialogue and challenges with their peers in
safe small classes to ensure continued professional
growth. There are fewer courses, all offered during the
day. Topics include ethics, public policy, strategy and
leadership.
