Finish the Program in 9 Months

It must be August, the number of calls regarding the Healthcare Management Certificate is certainly increasing!

Thoughts from Current Students

As I promised in May, notes from the Healthcare Management Certificate would quiet down over the Summer. Hopefully, you have had a nice break and you are looking forward to some continuing education for yourself. My phone and email activity has surely increased almost magically as the calendar changed to August. You must be getting the kids ready for school, and turning your attention to your own education. Perhaps you are thinking of your own career path and how the Healthcare Management Certificate may assist in your professional goals. Instead of me telling you, I thought I would pull together some comments from current students in the program - so you can hear from them directly.

A note from a student who drives up every Tuesday night from Eugene:
"I love the series and would recommend it…I share insights with my work team on Wednesday mornings. They are envious of the learning (but definitely not the drive!)"

A note from a director of a larger healthcare organization
"As a manager with training in a specific field, but not specifically in management, these courses provide a good foundation of knowledge for those management functions of my position. The decision to go back for a 2nd Masters or PhD is difficult, yet this certificate affords me some credentialing and documentation of expertise (outside of just work experience). I also liked that the management focus is specific to Healthcare it allows for discussions unique to our work issues.

A note from a patient care coordinator
"The class was really great and I'm glad I was part of it. This course is not only relevant, but crucial to our mission as a healthcare system."

As you may guess I am happy to share my own insights if you would like to give me a call or email me. Scroll to the bottom for a link to my email address.

This Fall is going to be a perfect time to start the program. If you choose to take the classes consecutively you could start in October and finish the program in June!
